PEER 1 Hosting's FastFiber Network supports new online application, Family iBoard

iBoard Unveils Family iBoard, First Private Social Network for Families – Securely Connecting Families For All Generations

“No advertising” model protects privacy, security

PENNINGTON NJ – May 30, 2012 – Privacy, security, no advertising – these are the hallmarks of a social network whose time has arrived.

Consumer trust issues with public social networks make a strong case for private networks where data and content is truly private. For many people, family personal data, content and communication is meant for family only -- not to be shared or sold to outside companies.

Offering the chance to share information strictly with family, The Family iBoard®, launching today, is a first-of-its-kind desktop, and soon to be mobile, application that provides families with a truly private social network to share digital content with family members only. Designed specifically for family-oriented sharing, the Family iBoard features and functionality help family members better communicate, share and preserve content with other family members and loved ones, safely and securely on a truly private and protected network.

“Until now, families have lacked a way to privately share all the kinds of information, physical items and pictures that families tend to care about most. Other social networks put this content at risk and people realize that,” said Christopher Gentile, founder and CEO of iBoard. “With the Family iBoard we’re giving family members an easy and safe way to keep in touch.”

The Family iBoard is a truly secure and closed network, with no advertising or sharing of personal data with outside companies. All content posted is under complete control of the author. Other popular social networks, even with privacy settings in place, offer no guarantee that content shared is truly private. For example, a photo that is shared with an approved “friend” can be easily saved by this friend and then shared within and outside the network.

Security and Privacy
The Family iBoard encrypts all content, making it viewable only within the password-protected Family iBoard. Only if an authorized family member specifically grants download permission can any content be saved.  The Family iBoard even disables the "print screen" function to further prevent family items from being shared outside of the family’s network. Uploaded photos and keepsakes will never be accessible or viewable by strangers.

iBoard's Cloud Network Storage helps guarantee to the subscribers that their content will always be available to pass down from generation to generation.

All Family iBoard content is hosted by PEER 1 Hosting, one of the world's leading IT hosting providers. With PEER 1 Hosting’s global 10Gbps FastFiber Network™ that is safe and secure, Family iBoard users will have access to their Family’s private network anywhere, anytime -- and fast.

How Families Communicate, Generation to Generation

The Family iBoard lets family members personalize each network according to the content they want to share.

·         The Family Calendar keeps track of all of your family's events from weddings to birthdays to spur-of-the-moment gatherings.

·         The Family News section lets family members create news articles to share with family no matter where they are in the world.

·         The Family Gallery is the ultimate family scrapbook for your entire family no matter where in the world they live, with the confidence of knowing your private content will never be accessible or viewable by strangers.

·         Uniquely, the Family Library is a “digital safe” to store and share family keepsakes, recipes and stories, to be handed down from generation to generation.  The library contains a true history timeline feature. The timeline feature documents a family member's personal history, based on information and content uploaded into the Family iBoard. Any member of the family’s network can add timeline data for content they upload, and it will be included in the timeline of each family member "tagged" in that content.

The Family iBoard is available via a free 30-day trial. After the trial period, there is a one-time Private Family Network set-up fee of $19.99, which includes 15 GB of storage and an additional 10 GB for every active member in the network.  The yearly membership cost is $7.99 for each Family iBoard member.

iBoard technologies have been in use since 2004 by over 5.5 million users, and utilized by many companies such as Lexus, Ameriprise Financial, MTV Networks, Honda, DirecTV, Best Buy Target, all of the major record labels, and many more.

Research In Motion CEO Provides Business Update

Research In Motion CEO Provides Business Update

Waterloo, ON - Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM), a world leader in the mobile communications market, today provided a business update from Thorsten Heins, the Company’s President and CEO.

“During the Q4 2012 and fiscal year-end financial results conference call on March 29, I said that I would provide our shareholders with candid and timely updates when possible on the progress and challenges RIM is experiencing. While we are no longer giving quantitative financial guidance, I wanted to provide a brief business update at this time, and will provide more details when our Q1 financial results for the quarter ended June 2, 2012 are released on June 28.

In terms of challenges, as I mentioned on the March financial results conference call, RIM is going through a significant transformation as we move towards the BlackBerry 10 launch, and our financial performance will continue to be challenging for the next few quarters. The on-going competitive environment is impacting our business in the form of lower volumes and highly competitive pricing dynamics in the marketplace, and we expect our Q1 results to reflect this, and likely result in an operating loss for the quarter.  We are continuing to be aggressive as we compete for our customers’ business – both enterprise and consumer – around the world, and our teams are working hard to provide cost-competitive, feature-rich solutions to our global customer base.  On the positive side, we expect to further increase our cash position in Q1 from the approximately $2.1 billion we had at the end of fiscal 2012.

Despite the current challenges, we have made significant progress on a number of fronts in the past few months:

- Our annual BlackBerry World conference and BlackBerry 10 Jam took place earlier this month and both were tremendously successful.  More than 5,000 developers, partners, carriers and enterprise customers from 115 different countries saw the first glimpses of our next-generation BlackBerry 10 platform and their response was encouraging.
- Our developer partners have been enthusiastic with the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha prototype unit we distributed at BlackBerry World and many are well underway in developing applications to be ready for the launch of BlackBerry 10 in the latter part of calendar 2012.
- The support and enthusiasm from our developer community is also reflected in our app growth, where we now feature more than 80,000 apps, which represents a 220% increase from one year ago, and more than 15,000 apps for PlayBook compared to less than 2,000 last year. We believe this bodes well for our ecosystem as we get set to launch BlackBerry 10.
- We are making steady progress with the innovation of our next-generation BlackBerry 10 mobile computing platform, which is still on track to launch in the latter part of calendar 2012.
- Our global subscriber base continued to grow this quarter to approximately 78 million, driven primarily by growth in international markets, which is partially offset by high churn in the United States, and our BBM user base has grown to approximately 59 million users globally.
- Our strong brand internationally was recently enhanced with the successful launch of two new BlackBerry 7 phones in India and Latin America.

We continue to make strategic changes to RIM’s senior management team with the hiring of two key new members to RIM’s executive leadership team. Kristian Tear, our Chief Operating Officer, whose background also includes extensive experience in international sales in Europe, Asia and Latin America, and Frank Boulben, our Chief Marketing Officer, who will provide our team with deep experience in the mobile computing and communications industry.  Both will assist me and the existing executive team as we continue to make the organizational changes necessary to position RIM for the future and prepare for the launch of our new BlackBerry 10 platform.

The CORE (cost optimization and resource efficiency) program we told you about previously is focused on delivering key operational savings through various initiatives. The financial objectives for the CORE program are targeted to drive $1 billion in savings by the end of fiscal 2013, based on our Q4 run rate. We are targeting better efficiency and use of resources in our sales and marketing initiatives to effectively leverage marketing windows and evaluate our country portfolio to determine where it makes sense for us to prioritize our efforts.  We will also continue to review RIM's organizational structure and clearly define accountabilities for all key businesses and business processes with a goal of eliminating fragmentation, duplication and inefficiencies.  While there will be significant spending reductions and headcount reductions in some areas throughout the remainder of the fiscal year, we will continue to spend and hire in key areas such as those associated with the launch of BlackBerry 10, and those tied to the growth of our application developer community. We will share more details regarding our progress throughout the year as programs are implemented or changes are completed.

To further enhance our commitment to successfully completing our transformation, after the release of our year-end financial results, we engaged J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and RBC Capital Markets to assist the Company and our Board of Directors in reviewing RIM’s business and financial performance.  These advisors have been tasked to help us with the strategic review we referenced on our year-end financial results conference call and to evaluate the relative merits and feasibility of various financial strategies, including opportunities to leverage the BlackBerry platform through partnerships, licensing opportunities and strategic business model alternatives.

Although we are facing challenges, we remain excited about BlackBerry 10 and believe that this platform coupled with the results of the strategic review will create long-term value for our stakeholders.  We will provide another more detailed business update when we report our first quarter results in June.”

Q1 Results Conference Call Details
RIM will be reporting results for the first quarter of fiscal 2013 on June 28, 2012 after the close of the market. The Company will discuss today’s announcement and first quarter fiscal 2013 results on a conference call and live webcast beginning at 5 pm ET, June 28, 2012. The call can be accessed by dialing 1-800-814-4859 or at www.rim.com/investors/events/index.shtml. A replay of the conference call will also be available at approximately 7 pm by dialing 1-416-640-1917 and entering passcode 4501363#. A replay of the webcast will be available clicking the link above. The replay will be available until midnight ET July 12, 2012. Gartner Says Monitoring Employee Behavior in Digital Environments is Rising

Gartner Says Monitoring Employee Behavior in Digital Environments is Rising

Latest Security Trends Will Be Explored at Gartner's Security & Risk Management Summit, 11-14 June, in National Harbor, Maryland; 16-17 July in Sydney, Australia and 19-20 September in London

SYDNEY, Australia, May 29, 2012—

Monitoring employee behavior in digital environments is on the rise, with 60 percent of corporations expected to implement formal programs for monitoring external social media for security breaches and incidents by 2015, according to Gartner, Inc. Many organizations already engage in social media monitoring as part of brand management and marketing, but less than 10 percent of organizations currently use these same techniques as part of their security monitoring program.

“The growth in monitoring employee behavior in digital environments is increasingly enabled by new technology and services,” said Andrew Walls, research vice president of Gartner. “Surveillance of individuals, however, can both mitigate and create risk, which must be managed carefully to comply with ethical and legal standards.”

To prevent, detect and remediate security incidents, IT security organizations have traditionally focused attention on the monitoring of internal infrastructure. The impact of IT consumerization, cloud services and social media renders this traditional approach inadequate for guiding decisions regarding the security of enterprise information and work processes.

“Security monitoring and surveillance must follow enterprise information assets and work processes into whichever technical environments are used by employees to execute work,” said Mr. Walls. “Given that employees with legitimate access to enterprise information assets are involved in most security violations, security monitoring must focus on employee actions and behavior wherever the employees pursue business-related interactions on digital systems. In other words, the development of effective security intelligence and control depends on the ability to capture and analyze user actions that take place inside and outside of the enterprise IT environment.”

The popularity of consumer cloud services, such as Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, provides new targets for security monitoring, but surveillance of user activity in these services generates additional ethical and legal risks. There are times when the information available can assist in risk mitigation for an organization, such as employees posting videos of inappropriate activities within corporate facilities. However, there are other times when accessing the information can generate serious liabilities, such as a manager reviewing an employee's Facebook profile to determine the employee's religion or sexual orientation in violation of equal employment opportunity and privacy regulations.

“The conflicts involved were highlighted through recent examples of a small number of organizations requesting Facebook login information from job candidates,” said Mr. Walls. “Although that particular practice will gradually fade, employers will continue to pursue greater visibility of social media conversations held by employees, customers and the general public when the topics are of interest to the corporation.”

A wide range of products and services have emerged to support these actions and many public relations firms provide social media monitoring as a standard client service. Security organizations are beginning to see value in the capture and analysis of social media content, not just for internal security surveillance, but also to enable detection of shifting threats that impinge on the organization. This might be physical threats to facilities and personnel revealed through postings concerning civil unrest or it may be threats of logical attacks by hacktivists. Early detection of shifting risks enables the organization to vary its security posture to match and minimize negative impacts.

“The problem lies in the ability of surveillance tools and methods to produce large volumes of irrelevant information,” said Mr. Walls. “This personal information can be exposed accidentally or become the target of voyeuristic behavior by security staff.”

There are a number of important issues that also need to be considered. While automated, covert monitoring of computer use by staff suspected of serious policy violations can produce hard evidence of inappropriate or illegal behaviors, and guide management response, it might also violate privacy laws. In addition, user awareness of focused monitoring can be a deterrent for illicit behavior, but surveillance activities may be seen as a violation of legislation, regulations, policies or cultural expectations. There are also various laws in multiple countries that restrict the legality of interception of communications or covert monitoring of human activity.

Additional information is available in the report: "Conduct Digital Surveillance Ethically and Legally: 2012 Update," which is available on Gartner's website at http://www.gartner.com/resId=1965315

Mr. Walls will be presenting on the threats and opportunities of monitoring users for security intelligence at the upcoming Gartner Security & Risk Management Summits in National Harbor, Maryland in June, in Sydney, Australia in July and in London in September.

McAfee Risk and Compliance Outlook Report Finds SIEM and Database Security Are Top Priorities

McAfee Risk and Compliance Outlook Report Finds SIEM and Database
Security Are Top Priorities

Annual Report Reveals Organizations are Moving Away from “One Size
Fits All” Approach and are Looking for Best-of-Breed Core Solutions
for Risk and Compliance

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - May 29, 2012 - McAfee today announced findings
from its annual study that highlights how IT decision-makers view and
address the challenges of risk and compliance management in a highly
regulated and increasingly complex global business environment. The
report Risk and Compliance Outlook: 2012, found that Database Security
and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) were among the top
priorities due to increased advanced persistent threats.

Database security has been an ongoing concern for organizations due to
highly publicized data breaches and the growing regulatory compliance
demands. The largest portion of an enterprise’s most sensitive and
valuable information resides in databases. When asked about sensitive
database breaches, over one quarter had either had a breach or did not
have the visibility to detect a breach. In addition, respondents listed
databases as the top challenge in meeting regulatory mandates.

The other top concern was SIEM, finding that most organizations rely on
legacy systems that do not meet their current needs. Ever changing
threats, data breaches, and IT complexity add to the burden of being
able to monitor security events, detect attacks, and assess real and
potential risk. Approximately 40 per cent of organizations are planning
to implement or update a SIEM solution. While 80 per cent of respondents
cited visibility as very important, security teams remained challenged
in this area. Discovering threats was listed as the top challenge to
managing enterprise risk.

Key Findings:
● Similar to the 2011 survey, there is a positive trend in security
budgets for 2012 with 96 per cent of the organizations indicating same
or more expenditure on risk and compliance.
● Organization state “Compliance” as the driver for almost 30 per
cent of IT projects.
● Software and appliance are the top choices for risk and compliance
products. On average, one-third of all organizations prioritized the
upgrade/implementation of unique risk and compliance products to address
vulnerability assessment, patch management, remediation, governance,
risk management and compliance.
● Survey data showed rapid uptake towards hosted
software-as-a-service (SaaS) and virtualization. Nearly 40 per cent of
organizations claim to be moving towards these deployment models in
2012.
● Patch management frequency is a challenge - almost half of the
organizations patch on a monthly basis with one-third doing it on a
weekly basis. Just like last year’s analysis, not all companies are
able to pinpoint threats or vulnerabilities, as a result, 43 per cent
indicate that they over-protect and patch everything they can.

“Managing risk through security and compliance continues to be a
leading concern for organizations the world over,” said Jill Kyte,
vice president of security management at McAfee. “Meeting the
requirements of increasingly demanding regulations while reducing
exposure to the new classes of sophisticated threats and having an
accurate understanding of risk and compliance at any point in time - can
be challenging. To address this issue, organizations are looking to
“best-of-breed” solutions to manage all aspects of their risk and
compliance needs and reduce the amount of time spent managing multiple
solutions.”

About the Report:
The independent research for the Risk and Compliance Outlook was
conducted by Evaluserve on behalf of McAfee. The survey includes
responses from 438 IT decision makers, consultants and security analysts
from companies with more than 250 worldwide employees who are involved
in evaluation, selection, day-to-day management a
nd maintenance of
security products. Surveys were conducted in Australia, Brazil, Canada,
France, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and United
States.

Orion Health Enhancing Newfoundland and Labrador's EHR Infrastructure

Orion Health Enhancing Newfoundland and Labrador's EHR Infrastructure

Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information to Receive Clinical Workflow and Integration Technology Solutions

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 28, 2012) - Orion Health, a leader in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare integration solutions, has been chosen by the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (the Centre) to deliver a province-wide, interoperable solution as part of its Electronic Health Record/Labs project. The EHR framework supports the province's vision of improving the quality, safety and delivery of patient care for its citizens by providing more complete and timely healthcare information to health providers.

The Electronic Health Record/Labs project will continue to make quality health information available to authorized health professionals in Newfoundland and Labrador and is a vital next step in continuing development of province's EHR. The development and implementation of this project also supports the national health mandate to develop a pan-Canadian health infrastructure where patient information is integrated and accessible.

The Orion Health solution is made up of three core products:

  1. The Concerto Clinical Portal: an EHR Desktop Viewer that provides a single point of access to view patient information using a secure web-based clinician portal;
  2. The Concerto Clinical Data Repository: enables the creation and maintenance of a secure, single patient record that can be securely accessed and updated by hospital clinicians, administrators and authorized external users and;
  3. The Rhapsody Integration Engine: integrates existing information systems within a region and connects to other regional networks and private laboratories.

These products work in tandem to:

  • Improve coordination of care across healthcare teams;
  • Reduce inefficiencies such as duplicate lab orders; and

Startup Canada visits York Region

Startup Canada visits York Region

The Regional Municipality of York to welcome Startup Canada National Tour

Newmarket, ON (May 24, 2012) – As one of Canada’s current hotbeds for startup ICT firms, The Regional Municipality of York has been eagerly anticipating Startup Canada’s National Tour visit this week. The Startup Canada Tour, which launched in March, is travelling across the country to celebrate entrepreneurship, identifying key challenges facing Canadian entrepreneurs and startups, and igniting new community-led solutions to those challenges. Input gathered through 30 Town Halls and more than 100 Fringe Events will inform an action plan, which Startup Canada will present to Prime Minister Stephen Harper this fall.

“We are very pleased to be hosting three StartUp Canada events in York Region, engaging hundreds of new and established entrepreneurs in an exciting discussion of how we can become more innovative and competitive as a nation,” said York Region Chairman and CEO Bill Fisch. “The Startup Canada movement is an exciting way to identify opportunities to make our region even better for entrepreneurs, and we look forward to contributing to this most important national dialogue.”

The Tour’s first stop in York Region is a Town Hall in Markham, co-hosted by ventureLAB and facilitated by business journalist and Startup Canada Advisor Rick Spence. The event will brainstorm community-driven ideas for supporting local entrepreneurship. ventureLAB President & CEO Jeremy Laurin, who coordinates programs for entrepreneur development, is looking forward to that discussion.

“This past year ventureLAB has met with literally hundreds of technology-based entrepreneurs throughout York Region and the GTA – inspired, hardworking folks all trying to change the world,” Laurin said. “It’s challenging, exciting and a pleasure to work with technology entrepreneurs. We know there are many more in York Region and we want to meet them.”

After the Markham stop, Startup Canada joins the York Technology Alliance for its Leadership Awards Luncheon, and then wraps up the day with a York Region Town Hall in King City, following a small business conference on innovation. Among the local participants will be Julie King, Co-Founder and Managing Editor of York Region-based CanadaOne.com, who says the time is right for an initiative like Startup Canada.

“This is an exciting time for start-ups in Canada and it is critical that we foster a high level of innovation at all levels of business to remain competitive,” said King. “We welcome the Startup Canada initiative as an important component of fostering a growing climate of innovation.”

Throughout the tour, provincial steering committees are helping put the spotlight on local startups and build connections across Canada’s entrepreneur communities through live webcasts of the Town Halls and active social media networks.

“To see a movement bring us together and empower us is more than exciting, it’s downright marvelous,” said Sean Stephens, CEO, Treefrog Interactive Inc./LassoSoft Inc. “Being a serial entrepreneur is often a painful, thankless job. Every day, sitting on your island, you grit your teeth and struggle through barrier after barrier while the world feeds you pessimism. The Startup Canada movement has a glorious vision that I think has the potential to make a real difference.”

In addition to being championed by patrons such as Brett Wilson (Host of RiskyBusinessTV, former Dragon & serial entrepreneur), Heather Reisman (Founder, Indigo Books & Music), and Dani Reiss (Founder, Canada Goose), Startup Canada has also received support nationally from a number of ambassadors and industry sponsors Microsoft, Gowlings and Ernst & Young.

Local partners include The Regional Municipality of York, ventureLAB, BKI, Small Business Enterprise Centres, Chambers of Commerce and the Northern Six (N6) municipalities of King, Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Newmarket and Whitchurch Stouffville.

Other sponsors include Microsoft, Gowlings, Ernst & Young, Best Western, Artik, Kick Ass Media, PubliAir, VideoBooth the Association of University Research Parks Canada, the Canadian Association of Business Incubation, the Evidence Network, Francis Moran & Associates, FreshBooks, MSBi Valorisation, NextMTL, the Ottawa Technology Transfer Network, Podio, Backbone Magazine, HootSuite, ITWorld Canada, Paper.li, Sprouter, and Techvibes.

York Region is Startup Canada’s last stop in Ontario this May and moves on to New Brunswick tomorrow before heading west to the prairies. A full schedule of York Region’s events and the complete National Tour is posted on the Startup Canada website – www.startupcan.ca/tour

Intel Invests More than $40 million in Worldwide Network of University Research Centers to Drive Innovation

Intel Invests More than $40 million in Worldwide Network of University Research Centers to Drive Innovation

Total Investment Includes New Intel Collaborative Research Institutes in U.K., Germany and Israel

NEWS HIGHLIGHTS
  • Intel will invest more than $40 million over the next 5 years in a worldwide network of university research centers called "Intel Collaborative Research Institutes" (ICRI).
  • The ICRI program will bring together experts from academia and industry to invent the future of technology.
  • New Institutes include the ICRI for Sustainable Connected Cities in the United Kingdom; ICRI for Secure Computing in Germany; and the ICRI for Computational Intelligence in Israel.
  • Each Intel Collaborative Research Institute is led by a "hub" school and will span multiple "spoke" universities, building a vibrant global community of researchers.

SANTA CLARA, CALIF., May 24, 2012 – Intel Corporation today announced it will invest more than $40 million over the next 5 years in a worldwide network of university research communities called the Intel Collaborative Research Institutes (ICRI). The ICRI program is based on the successful U.S.-based Intel Science and Technology Centers (ISTCs), and will bring together experts from academia and industry to help explore and invent in the next generation of technologies that could impact the lives of many in the future.

"The new Intel Collaborative Research Institute program underscores our commitment to establishing and funding collaborative university research to fuel global innovation in key areas and help address some of today's most challenging problems," said Justin Rattner, chief technology officer at Intel. "Forming a multidisciplinary community of Intel, faculty and graduate student researchers from around the world will lead to fundamental breakthroughs in some of the most difficult and vexing areas of computing technology."

The three ICRIs will collaborate with their own multi-university communities and other ICRIs, as well as the U.S.-based ISTCs, strengthening Intel's global research network. In addition, two previously established centers are being incorporated in the ICRI program: Intel Visual Computing Institute (Saarland University) and the Intel-NTU Connected Context Computing Center (National Taiwan University), extending Intel's global research network even further.
Each institute will have a specialized focus, but is encouraged to incorporate the unique environments within their region, country and area of research. The three new ICRIs include:
  • The ICRI for Sustainable Connected Cities, United Kingdom. This joint collaboration among Intel, Imperial College London and University College London aims to address challenging social, economic and environmental problems of city life with computing technology. Using London as a test bed, researchers will explore technologies to make cities more aware and adaptive by harnessing real-time user and city infrastructure data. For example, through a city urban cloud platform, the city managers could perform real-time city optimizations such as predicting the effects of extreme weather events on the city's water and energy supplies, resulting in delivery of near-real-time information to citizens through citywide displays and mobile applications.
  • The ICRI for Secure Computing, Germany. At this Institute, Intel and the Technische Universität Darmstadt will explore ways to dramatically advance the trustworthiness of mobile and embedded devices and ecosystems. For example, the joint research will seek ways to develop secure, car-to-device communications for added driver safety; new approaches to secure mobile commerce, and a better understanding of privacy and its various implementations. By grounding the research in the needs of future users, the institute will then research software and hardware to enable robust, available, survivable systems for those use cases.
  • The ICRI for Computational Intelligence, Israel. In a joint collaboration with the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the ICRI will explore ways to enable computing systems to augment human capabilities in a wide array of complex tasks. For example, by developing body sensors that continuously monitor the owner's body, researchers could then pre-process this information and take appropriate actions. The system can continuously monitor human functions from the brain, heart, blood, eyes and more, and send this data to a remote server that will combine them with other data such as environmental weather conditions, along with historical data, and could proactively warn people about a potential headache or dizziness during driving.

"Intel has long recognized that the computing industry is sustained by the efforts of many participants," said Chris Ramming, director of Intel Labs University Collaborations Office. "We are hopeful that we will be able to expand the program and include other industry and government sponsors to find new ways to accelerate the creation and adoption of valuable new technologies."
