Hi all,
I hope all is well. Since CRN/It in Canada follow Huawei, I know you’re all probably aware of the recent news around the company’s acquisition of 3Leaf Systems. In light of this, I wanted to let you all know that yesterday, Huawei issued the following open letter, written by Ken Hu, Deputy Chairman of Huawei Technologies and Chairman of Huawei USA. The purpose of this letter is to try and illustrate Huawei’s perspective on the matter. It’s an unprecedented move for them.
I realize this is a lengthy article, but wanted to be sure that you all saw it, especially since the letter provides more detail about the company and its founder, Mr. Ren Zhengfei. If someone would like to speak with Huawei, I would be more than happy to arrange a phone interview with Bill Plummer, Vice President of External Affairs at Huawei.
Thanks so much, and please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Kent
