Media Advisory - McKesson Canada brings new web-based service to Canada that transforms medical collaboration and information exchange
Exclusive Media Demonstration at HealthAchieve 2011
TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - McKesson Canada will be launching a new web-based service called RelayHealth at the HealthAchieve 2011 Toronto Tradeshow on November 7-8. According to the 2011 Canadian Medical Association report, "Healthcare Transformation in Canada," "multi-billion dollar health information technology (HIT) investments are made in Canada; however, they have not yet resulted in significant benefits to providers and patients."
Find out how McKesson's RelayHealth service will provide both patients and health care providers with a complete electronic health record and information sharing tool. It also easily integrates with existing investments as well as planned regional and provincial repositories. By facilitating information exchange and collaboration between health care providers and patients, RelayHealth transforms how health care is delivered to Canadian patients by accelerating access to care and decreasing costs.
